Most of these shows would have been created / signed off when C5 was still owned by Richard Desmond. Based on the newspaper he owns, that seems to love reporting and glorifying all this sort of ste every day, including bringing back Big Brother to sell his paper, etc, it would tend to explain a lot of shows like this, the baby blinging, etc, etc.

I think he sold C5 to a subsidiary of Viacom recently, so maybe there will be an end to these shows by the end of the year.

I watched this last night, and apart from Mr. Happy, why they didn't lock him in the car and call the BiB I have now idea, it struck me if you don't drive something like a Jag, RR or anything German, make sure there is nothing on view and make sure it is properly locked when you walk away from the car, then you should be alright.

I got a bit concerned when they got to the Romanian and how he was breaking into cars in the street, but when it showed he is just blocking the transmission of the signal it didn't bother me, I always dead lock my car and you can hear the locks, so if I don't hear the locks, I know it hasn't locked.

My thoughts as well, who in the right mind walks away from the car without making sure it's locked, same as you do (I hope) when you shut your front door.

This program was a fantastic advertisement for the advantages of the current UK Benefits, Immigration policy and membership of the European Union - for criminals.

One good thing, at least all the wannabe car thieves now know how to disabled trackers and find them, well done.

Why don't we have a programme on "How to burgle houses", I am sure that will go down well.

So that new Merc that was found in the container, when it registered as a new car in what ever country it goes to, what happens when it goes to a dealer for service or warranty work.
I'm guessing that whoever buys something like that is well aware of its origin (if not in detail) and won't go anywhere near a dealer. Priced accordingly, I assume.

So why can't every container be opened and checked at the port. They are hardly hidden aren't they....
I suspect the problem is the number of containers and the speed at which they have to be processed - there was something on TV from a container port quite recently that showed the volumes involved, which I only part-watched as there were a lot of shots from inside the container crane, so I had my eyes shut. It does seem to make a mockery of a customs seal though.

I didn't watch the programme, as others have said I just figured it would be too annoying for words.

I can't see why Jamie Fatbloke is so pleased with himself, he's spent half his life in prison, he's a useless failure.

Just loaded the 5 app looking for 5th Gear. This came up and I'm regretting watching it. As others have mentioned that Jaime seems too pleased with himself.

Also the chap disabling the trackers saying he's "smart". No if you'd built the device and programmed something maybe, but you're just using a device.

Cretins.

Agree and, alarming that folk in the local appear to look-up to such a character.

Am I only one that thought when he broke into mondeo, that isn't starting with an immobiliser. He couldn't start it but made out like there was something wrong with the car but oh got battery lights on. So any other car this would have worked. Doubt it would with modern cars, or is it possible and I'm missing something?

I thought the same thing, busting the ignition and getting power is a lot different to stating it.

I'm just getting round to watching this now. If I didn't need my tv I would've footed it by now! The fat tit with the stick seems to walk fine when a junkie wants a fight.

Just seen this thread, watched this on the night, piss boiled in seconds flat.

One thing I remember from it.

When Jamie apologises to the garage bloke for nicking many cars from his plot,he wasn't sorry

in the slightest bit.

"Happy" and the Romanian should be just hunted down and dealt with[that's the non sweary version]
