My new shed is a 2006 1.2 (z12xep) Corsa C

It seems to have the throttle mapping totally wrong - it accelerates much harder* at 25% pedal travel than it does at full pedal travel.

On the motorway today I pinned the pedal to the floor, and then slowly released it, and sped up as I raised the pedal!

I thought it might have some stupid 'sprint booster' box fitted but there doesn't seem to be anything attached to the pedal electrics.

No lights on and no fault codes

Any ideas? Could it be come kind MAF/temp sensor issue? I'm going to leave the battery disconnected tomorrow to see if it resets something but after that I'm out of ideas really

  • as hard as a wheezing bag of 80bhp possibly can anyway

It is yes

Disconnecting the battery didn't do anything, so I'm not sure what to poke around with next
