Will be going. Last years was terrific, great turn out with more people than the Exodus, and the weather could not have been better. The facebook page mentioned they will be publishing the entry list of vehicles entered this week on the Motorfest website, but so far, I've seen no sign of it yet. I'm not sure how accurate the list will be as I'm sure I remembered seeing a Jaguar C-Type included in the 2013 list which never attended the show (I had looked forward to seeing it); I also spotted one or two cars there which weren't listed on the entry list for some reason.

Still no sign of the entry list on the website. It says entries closed, but still open/accepting entries for competition vehicles.

I know I’ve left it late to ask, but where can I park in Ormskirk? Thanks.

KMF, I was there at that exact moment when your Mrs (?) was taking that pic. I was planning on taking a pic of your car and then you went and stood there so I moved on...hehe I thought it was some random person having their pic taken with a nice car...not the owner! laughthumbup

I parked at the university and walked down which worked out well in terms of avoiding the busyness. That was the first time I’ve been to this event and thought it was well worth a trip out, really good. I’ve got a load of pics I’ll post up when I've sorted through them.

I saw you come in, i was ready to laugh, i didn't, looks really good..

Highlights of the day for me were the herd of bubble cars doing the parade and the 'angry teen' in the back of the Bentley on the parade.....

We went down in the afternoon for a look. Jeez, it was busy! Plenty to see but the parade organisation seemed very haphazard. Spoke to a gent with a 993 on display who was having to watch his car like a hawk because general public were dragging their shopping bags along it. Guess that's one of the problems with free shows taking place where a lot of the crowd are non enthusiasts. His car had picked up at least two scratches.

Two nice 356 replicas on display, but a shame they weren't parked together for comparison and photo opportunity.

Does anyone know if the Jaguar XK120 that joined in the parade was a replica?, just wondering as I touched the body around the wheel arches and it had a fibreglass feel to it. Could've just been from an original shell but re-built using fibreglass panels. I wonder how many cars there were actually replicas like those Speedsters. I thought some of the Ferrari's were kits until I saw the engine which clearly had the word Ferrari displayed on it.

My brother in law, knows that I'm seriously into cars, and never mentioned that he was going. Given that he would have to drive past the end of my road, I'm a bit pissed off with him. (Had I known it was on, I'd have asked him if he wanted to go) tt.

What does this tell you about his feelings for you? Do you need to have a sit down with him and talk things through. Maybe he just needs some time looking at the cars on his own, to give him a chance to reevaluate where the relationship is going.

It was my second year of attending the Ormskirk Motoring Festival & all credit is due to the Aintree Circuit Club & their Marshalls, all the volunteers & everyone else who was involved in organising the event. http://youtu.be/FUGgyhS68X4

The local Traders must have been very pleased with the turnout & the nice weather held out long enough. Logistically it must have been very difficult at times to line up all the vehicles in the correct order on time not helped by plenty of muppets who were trying to cross the roads when the cars were due to parade causing some delays.

I also spotted the old geezer on roller skates as well, wish i could do that when i’m his age. There was a burgundy Mercedes convertible (540K?) that i’ve previously seen at Lytham Hall, was that a replica? If so it was very well made with a lot of attention to detail.
There was a Park & Ride facility from Edge Hill University which was a fiver to park all day with a return journey on old buses, well worth it as parking was at a premium in the Town. Looking forward to next year,it just gets better each year.
