Looking at a project using some downdraft manifolds and ITBs (FI). Thought I might ask here, as there is more likely a bit more experience with them. What is the maximum ITB throttle size you would recommend?

Also, if anyone has a pair lying around the garage - I would be interested.... smile

Not being able to extend myself to Jenveys £££, I was considering using these:

Maybe I'm asking for trouble? As a kit (without the manifold) it's about £800 incl import tax, VAT & shipping. The throttles are 50mm.

Buyer beware........... I bought a fuel rail remarkably similar to the one in the picture last year from the states, it lasted exactly 7 weeks before it started to leak from all the joints. I now have some very attractive komatsu digger pipe instead. I think I paid $125 wish I had bought £42 of digger hydraulics hose.

If thats 800 quid for just the tb's doesnt it get fairly close to a set of jenvies once you've added manifold, linkages and fuel rail etc ?

Jenvey 4 x throttle pairs £1070 + £250 for airhorns + £200 fuel rail, connectors etc + £60 TPS... so close to double the price...but again, you get what you pay for I suppose....
