Fiesta coughts at Iddle - test mode errors

Hello everyone, I have an old 2000 Fiesta mk4/5 with the 1.25 zetec engine.
At iddle, there seems to be a very random cough(misfire?). The revs might swing a bit but something like 50rpm worth of it.
Checked the car Test Mode and returned the following codes (DTC code - OBD code - meaning):
9201 - B1201 - Fuel Sender Circuit Failure
9204 - B1204 - Fuel Sender short to ground
Plugs are new. Car works fine under acceleration. Fuel pump seems to work fine and fuel gauge shows no problem.
Any ideas?
