Rear window heater interfering with DAB on 08 XF

Strange problem has started on my XF. In the the last few weeks I've noticed no DAB radio reception on my way to work. I put it down to some odd atmospheric conditions. However this morning I noticed that it caused when I turn on my heated rear screen. I've been turning on the rear window to clear some early morning condensation.

I'm sure this is something that has recently started as I didn't have issues all through the winter whe I had it on to thaw out the car.

Fm reception is fine and if I turn of the rear window heater reception returns straight away.

I'm assuming some sort of interference but can't think why it's just started up. Any ideas what might be causing it? Is the DAB Aerial in the shark fin or in the rear screen element?

Seems a couple of folks on the XF Forum have had this issue and had to have a new rear screen fitted. What a pain.....

Better check if my insurance covers rear screen replacement
