And presumably, that's more to do with the optional CF trumpets than the actual air box? AFAICT, the air box is the same size and shape as the standard, so how can extra BHP be gained, especially if the standard is in perfect fettle?

As you say, only bu the trumpets smoothing out airflow, or different lengths, so that they alter the characteristics.

That is a good price (even with a cat d) given it's a 2005 car.
If I did not already have one I would be getting that thing inspected and if checked out bought ASAP.

Be an odd way to help breathing problems... in the picture i saw the holes are in the dead area in between body feeds.
