Is anyone willing to put a PH pint on who goes out this weekend?

I think I have my two in the dance-off, but one's much stronger in hold. May be a tough weekend for the boys.
It will be either Steve or Sunetra I think

I'd love to see Zoe and Claudia as the presenting team. But one step at a time, I guess. The fact that the BBC have two girls presenting the show is major progress, even if Tess is a hangover from the old days (sorry Tess).
To have two confident, independent, stand-on-their-own-two-feet women presenting is maybe the next step. We'll see.
This, hopefully

Oh, absolutely. But let's not underestimate what a milestone it is for us to have Tess and Claudia, rather than <some guy> and Tess. That could so easily have happened.

I really think Zoe and Claudia would be awesome as a team, but I think we really should acknowledge that the BBC have taken a major step forward in gender equality by having Tess and Claudia.

Think of it as a phased transition or something.

As it happens I disagree. I think Zoe Ball is too similar, although not as amusing, as Claudia Winkleman and the two would not compliment each other, whereas Claudia's personality is the perfect foil to Tess's somewhat more straight role. Zoe Ball is fine midweek, on her own, where she can be as shouty as she likes but not with Claudia she would just try to drown her out.

Hmmm. There's a lot of merit in that argument too. Perhaps Zoe and Claudia are too alike. scratchchin

I wonder if it is a case of him being black or Blue?
I really don't think it is a case of colour or ex-boy bandness. I think he has a slightly odd way about him born from insecurity which he then overcompensates for. This (to me) comes across as alternately arrogant and moody, which is a shame. He never seems relaxed even on the ITT couch where Zoe and Christina are being extra nice to him.

This I think affects his dancing too, so it is unlikely he will be in the final.

Finalists for me Pixie (ringer of course), Frankie (another ringer really) and Jake if he gets some dramatic dances between now and then.

Think I'd go along with that, with Pixie winning - she seems to me to be a country mile ahead of anyone else. Below that I think it's Caroline, Mark and Simon with either Sunetra or Steve going out this week. Probably Steve given the dances he and Sunetra have.

As for the Zoe/Claude debate, Claudia please, by a distance - let Zoe continue mucking about on ITT. Speaking of mucking about, when the couples are being interviewed while they wait for the marks, can they all stop p*ssing about in the background - how bloody cringeworthy was it when they all started doing the 'I'm Spartacus' thing last week, especially Judy Murray. And, while I'm moaning (sorry!), the little stories before they dance - sheesh, Pixie and Trent's donkey ride on the beach was agony - much better they show clips from them rehearsing, I'm sure they used to do more of this.

Anyways, looking forward to tonight, it's starting to get down to the nitty gritty now all the comedy acts have finally gone.

The latter, please yes, stop, for the love of something very loveable.

The former? Nah, it looks like a bunch of people having a great time, so let 'em crack on.

Apparently Claudia is back this Saturday.

I'll miss Zoe, but I missed Claudia more.
Yes. nice to hear Clauds is back and her daughter is obviously on the mend now.

Did anyone see Children in Need with Tess & Wogan hosting? God it was painful, not sure who was the worst presenter out of those two. I turned off after an hour of it

Anyhow, glad it's Saturday, seems like a very long week since last weeks Strictly.

I think Pixie will win but Frankie and Caroline will run her close. The eastenders guy might be in the mix too. Must admit there is something about Caroline she is a foxy lady! ;-)

I think Caroline said she stepped on her dress and almost fell over. The judges praised her on her recovery though.

The Waltz definitely suits Sunetra more.
