Cooper S rev limiter

Hi all,

We have the above car, that is a friends, we're trying to remove the limiter from, its getting to 6600 and no further. We're getting a new head and cams fitted but it will be producing some more power higher up, does anyone know the prcess -software needed etc its standard ECU.

I would take to one of the many chipping firms. To look at an ECU is cheep to get what is required to program one just to higher the rev limit would probably be to expensive to make sense. Supper chip I know has done a lot of work on minis but there are others.
