Is it just me, or has the other thread quietened down over the last week...

Not that I'm suggesting a connection.

Venetian blinds. That exudes class class. I trust they were a dusty pink.

Just dusty. Lord Chunj of Govan has people to do such things for him but they're easily distracted.

Sir,

I assume yours is running the full 85KW. Where it not at birth it would be easy enough for someone like you with the correct connections to perform the requisite performance engineering to release the hounds therein.

If not, then this thread has been nothing but a pernicious lie and one is not sure how to continue henceforth.

Yours

Sc of Dan the Forth.

I say, steady on, old boy. His Lordship has concerns and is frequently deep in thought. If the referendum goes the wrong way he will lose his seat in the House of Lords. It is that serious. He has little time to consider your kW (or whatever it is).

Dear Sir Clunge,

Have you thought of trading in the Ignis, buying a Mclaren F1 and perhaps investing the leftovers in hardcore pornography and drugs?

I would.

I think you'll find, good sir, that it is notmy kW that are under consideration.

Some of us have considerations, others have standards. One does not exclude, nor excuse the other.

Forthwith my lips will remained firmly sealed regarding this matter until we have had an appropriate response from our weighty authority. I hope that makes my position clear and that the grasped cup does not turn out to be a counterfeit chalice.

Would it be terribly insulting to say the Hyundai F40.is the better car. Sorry Chunj, but it was the posters on the walls for that did it.

It's tempting, I must admit.

Considering swapping the pinnacle of Japanese automotive engineering for a wonky seated kit car is blasphemy. I used to have to visit Woking and wouldn't trust the locals to build a sandwich let alone a car.

Dear Overlord Chunj, to gain your approval I drew you a picture of you enjoying your Ignis, if this pleases you so, can you please place a copy on your fridge.

Most majestic Chunj...

Earlier in the thread you bestowed a small nugget of your almost limitless wisdom on all things Ignis related upon our unworthy screens when you mentioned that you run without front valve caps at the front.

How much of a reduction does this make to your bridge to gantry times at the Nurburgring Nordschleife?

I'm thinking of ditching the steel valve caps and switching to plastic to improve the intial 'turn in response' but will it help me hold a tighter line on the fast sweeping curves of my daily commute?

What about carbon brakes? Are you going to fit them? You know, lower that 'unsprung mass' of yours?

This is very much the point. The difference is in the detail. Subtle and discrete, the mark of a gentleman.

Unless they are avocado, which is just, and shudder to say this, ordinary.
