No love for the Escort XR3's?

Loved them as a nipper. Nowadays Alpina (but not the abominations a page or so ago) are the ones I love.

3-piece Ronal Turbos aren't they?
Compomotive by all accounts, but I'm not exactly an expert in such matters. I can imagine they would look shocking on 99% of other cars, but for some reason they just work on the XJS

Always thought the Style 72 looked better than the second gen M Sport wheels on the E46.

And I'm a fan of these too, although I'm unsure if this grey colour was OEM.

Most of the ones i like have been mentioned, when thinking about the wheels i like it made me realise how much influence they have on a cars total looks and that i've always bought cars with wheel i like

Gransport - Trident style wheels, manufactured by BBS
Boxster - Split rim 996 GT3 style rims
E46 - MV2's
Alfa 156 - Teledials

Others i like are;

the one's Alfa fit to the 159 Ti and especially the bigger teledial things on the 8C

The multi spokes that Merc use on the C63 are very nice too

Cyclone's that were fitted to the 306 Gti, also liked the wheels on the 205 1.9 gti

Compomotive Turbo, so I was halfway there. Think the Ronal wheels are basically copies, albeit fairly decent quality ones. Seen on modified VWs and the like:

I didn't buy a Boxster a couple of years ago because it had those wheels, worst ones porsche offered in recent years.

The E39 M5 wheels:

The dish gave them a real purposeful appearance yet the shadow chrome finish added an 'understated' look to it - suited the nature of the car perfectly...
