Morning All,

Went to start my 2004 M3 yesterday and the remote locking didn't work so I unlocked it manually. Then when turning the key in the ignition nothing happened - no dash lights, nothing. The radio wouldn't turn on either. I have had a new alternator and battery last year. But I thought the battery might be dead and tried jump starting it. Still there were no dash lights coming on. I tried with both keys with the same result. I had a quick look at the fuses that might be to blame like immobiliser etc but they looked fine.

Any ideas?

I had similar with mine over winter - the battery terminals were dry and oxidised. Bit of wire wool followed by vaseline/grease sorted it.

Cheers guys. I charged the battery and all was well. Was strange though it being completely dead with no lights on the dash.
