Thinking of buying a Spider

Hello all

I'm thing about buying a Spider and I'm looking at the 3.2 v6 JTS. But not driven the 2.2 yet. Now, I've been driving Mercedes CLK's V8's for a few years.I know the Spider's not a Merc but. What should I look out for? Or should I stop now and stay with the brand I know? If you have any tips or recommendations, let me know.

Don't go 2.2. Too big a car, ours felt underpowered.

kapiteinlangzaam is absolutely right.
The 3.2 is the only way to go, and I've had mine for four years now. It makes a mighty fine noise when pushed, and the 4 wheel drive makes it hard to unsettle (unless you REALLY cane it).....

Don't discount the 2.4. It's a cracking engine.
