Building an XR3 from the ground up for and in Dubai

Ok I've been here before and am no closer to my childhood dream of having an XR3 in Dubai, I've done eBay (Europe) and some other specialised second hand car sites and I want a very specific mark 1 XR3 or XR3i which the didn't appear to do donthe continent (red laser trim and a frame head rests)

So here's my idea, is it remotely feasible!??

Buy a LHD 3 door 1.6l mark 3 Escort and basically create a look alike built from ground up here in Dubai,

Obviously like to add to add some ac but otherwise creating a replica car.

Am only coming down to this as I truly cannot find a LHD version even remotely similar to what I am looking for.

We like what we like and I'd like one of these.

So guessing if considered something that is practical whom could be recommended to put it all together for me as I'm guessing would involve me purchasing most of the component parts from the internet, shipping here then assembling the same.

Look forwards to suggestions, hope constructive and not to abusive.

Been tracking mobile.de for a whilst also and the type im after again comes up a limited time, and there is one now.

Based on your response would you have any recommendations as whom to talk to since aside from parting with the cash I would really like to use a one stop shop from the importing of the chosen vehicle all the way through to completing the project.

Again take it under advisement whether I should split the function or not but very grateful for your input.

there was a pretty mint rs turbo for sale on ebay recently. iirc it didn;t sell so may be still kicking around the classifieds.

It will be hard to find a one stop shop to import and work on it, best to import then take it to a garage.

The other issue is garages lack space, you take it somewhere and the parts come a bit oat a time it will take forever and probably spend a lot of time at the back of the line.

Best to get all the bits in one go and shop around, it really depends on the work you need doing, body, trim, mechanical, electrical as any place in the UAE that can do all of that to a high standard is $$
