Looks like it might be a bit quieter than RL100

120k is £55, or £44 if you use ROADCC as the voucher code

cheers for code looks interesting, always wanted to get out riding over the BBs but I'm rubbish @ planning routes

Would prefer it to ride London as it looks a bit more hilly (and not on London)

Signed up for this last week.
Maybe we should set up a PH group to take on the rides?
The UCI race looks like it should have some big names to.

Really hoping this gets off the ground and is fully supported. May be a tough first year to gain solid uci club backing, but first off, it needs people to turn up and support. Cheaper all round for me to stay and participate than London and I prefer the hilly course.

registered too, should be a nice warm up for C2C later that month, and sure £44 is a lot of money but its localish and it would be nice if it became a permanent fixture.

Same - in fact I just started a topic to this effect (I know good routes round this region exist, I just don't know how to get to them).

I don't normally plan that far in advance especially as I'm not sure how long I'll be here, but it is tempting, especially if it's a new venture that needs support.

Actually in terms of entry cost, its actually quite reasonable. Triathlons range from £65 to £100 and most of the UKCE (Wiggle) sportives are £33.

When events drop in popularity, the prices tend to tumble. For instance, the BT Swimathon is £8 and used to be £20. Cycling is on the up, so there for the prices will remain high.

Sign up site has been live for 2 hours, and forever hanging for 2 hours. If only these companies could foresee such a situation where there might be a surge in interest....

Oh Im registered for this, you could sign up all this week if you were a member of British Cycling. Slightly concerned now IVe realised how big the Tumble is.

Well, the site crashes constantly and has been for hours. Don't think I'll bother signing up anymore if this is the level of organisation to expect from the day

I'm now in but missed the 20% 'window' due to the site continually hanging for several hours. Not too impressed with the site given they created the surge themselves by telling people to hurry for the 20% off but looking forward to the event none the less

Am I missing something? I entered my details in the 'tell me when I can register' form but can't see anywhere to actually sign up yet.

There is a pre registration window where you could sign up, to then register this week.. think normal registration opens next week

All booked and paid for. Looking forward to this. I'm having a trial run up the Tumble on Saturday if anyone else is in the area and fancies a look. It should be compulsory for the PH posse on this event to wear their PH jerseys.

Aha! I'd pre-registered but the email found its way into my junk folder. I've just entered and put the team name as Pistonheads. I quoted 3h - 3.5h so hoping to be in the first wave.
