Neal, is it a gloss back or satin black finish on the vinyl? Trying to match the wheels.

Hmmm, I'm not sure, but I would say it's gloss. It's a match for the black plastic on the engine cover surround. I have a second set of wheels for mine in satin black (with winter tyres) and it looks fine against those. I actually prefer mine though with the silver forged wheels and I think the diamond cut wheels on yours look fantastic as they are, so if I were you I'd get the wrap done first and see what you think before getting the wheels changed.

Welcome to the club ....great looking car !

Had the SR done in full. To do sills properly they need to remove bottoms of front wings. The front splitter will need armour fending strips added otherwise stone chips will show original colour in no time. Roof was a bit of flaff and took 3 attempts to get perfect on the front edge, Does look the biz when done though.

I think yours will look great with roof left as is.

Just remember to tell insurance company about vinyl though, as it's classed as a modification. My premium went up £60

How does having a contrasting colour roof increase their risk? I'd be looking for a different insurer come renewal time, that's taking the pee...

Unfortunately you have to tell your insurer of any modifications , visually or mechanically, otherwise you'll be on shaky ground if you ever need to claim . Whether they decide to increase premium or not is another matter.

I expect there are a lot of people out there, risking not being insured, without knowing it (or turning a blind eye).

this car was £75k when it left the factory and I got it for 50% of that
You got 4.5k off plus 1.2k service pack AND extended warranty?! redface Bargaintastic. How have Silverstone been to deal with?

I can't comment on exactly what I paid - that would be unfair to Silverstone. But to date - they have been magnificent. Very helpful, very keen. Very willing to be realistic and very honest. When I turned up at 0930 on a Saturday morning Amiee - the sales lead - was polishing all the cars and inspecting them. Truly dedicated. One of the best dealers I have ever come across. I obviously haven't picked up the car yet so will report back on that. To date - however, brilliant.

Dealer of the Year over on TLF based on customer reviews. Must be good to beat my local, Murray in Edinburgh. I'll have to let Brandon know he's slipping....;-)

Excellent stuff...a plan is coming together smile

Has your car got any options outside of the 3 packs, and are there any concerns around the IPS 'box? Sorry to hijack, I'm on a learning curve!

Edit. Scratch that...I'll do my own research! http://wiki.seloc.org/a/Evora_Buyers_Guide
