Just wondering if anyone else is going?

What can we expect to see? I know the Vulcan, Typhoon and BBMF are flying on the Thursday. Can't wait to see the Vulcan again, and the 2 Lancasters

Yes we will be there .................just hope the weather is good as a few friends went to Sywell yesterday and the 2 Lancs didnt make it!

What's the traffic like is there a good place to park and watch.
Or is it best to go from London on the train

£43 on the train! I will be driving, first time at this airshow for me, but I'm sure I will find my way around.

All being well, I will be going on Thursday with my dad and brother. Never been before, so not sure what to expect. We will be leaving very early, so that we can get a parking space as close as we possibly can.

i have been many times and all i can say is get there early! i usually park at my aunts house in Jaywick and walk up the seafront.

Change of plan, I'm going to RAF Coningsby to see the 2 Lancasters with the Vulcan.

I'm just off to the station to grab a breakfast before catching the train and heading off to Clacton.

Does anyone know what time the lancasters & Vulcan will be displaying?
I'm taking my 3yr old and she has a very short attention span so timing is everything!

Nope, been trying to find out but it seems hidden away on twitter which makes zero sense to me.

Sat on the seafront now. Crap local radio tard on the loud speakers is annoying, hope the aeroplanes drown him out.

Never seen how ugly the off shore wind farm is before either.

North of the pier is pretty quiet, getting busier though.

Going to go and grab the littlun from the nursery in a minute and will then wander down. Will be on the end of the pier with the big Canon lens and little boy with Yellow earphones!

Tricky to get any decent pics shooting straight into the sun and the trains were a bit of a pain getting home but how great to see the two Lancs together:

Did any one else get caught up in the traffic coming out of Clacton? i believe it was made worse by the VOSA check point
