I have been using RC6 pads which I like. I am considering moving to RC8 compound. Are any of you using RC8 after stepping up from RC6.

We ran them in Danny's Tuscan when he raced it, they are very good , Rc 6 rear Rc 8 front with the fluted back plates, bit harder on the discs tho.

Hi Craig, Did you think the extra disc wear was worth the extra stopping ?

They last a bit longer but wear the discs a bit quicker, they are suited to endurance racing but work well also in sprint races,

What are you running in the rear ?

Padgid RS 14 in the back 4 pot .I was using Mintex 1144 upfront in the 6 pots but was swayed away from them to try CL RC6 by your friend on here. The RC6 are excellent and I am very impressed. I have AP disc's that are mega money to replace as you will know so not keen on heavy disc wear for no noticeable gain as you will know as well.

I have fitted rc6 pads on the vx perry the lotus boys tell me they are very good. I will find out next week when i use them for the first time. we tried mintex 1144 last time but they overheated very quickly at the front end which was a surprise as the engine is over the rear axle

Kev the RC6 are very good and need hardly any bedding in before they work , you won't be disappointed.
