If your stuck.. I have used these guys before to re-condition a water pump.. did a very good job and reasonable also.

It was the water pump for the 2.9 cosworth lump I was thinking of using for my 280i project...
- before the work, it leaked and the impeller was loose on the pulley shaft so it wasn't actually pumping water...
They fully reconditioned it , cut a gasket to suit and posted to me for approx 80 all in - this was a while ago so prices may have changed...

That's not too bad then - I may weld my spare one to strengthen the casing and then have it refurbed (see the thread on sprintexes to see why.)
On the other hand... new bearings/seals look like they should only be about £25. It can't be rocket science to dismantle, press out/in, then re-mantle, can it? Where can we get the bearings from though?
