Anyone been to corsica?
Discussion
Corisica definitely has it's own character - more like Italy than France.
Personally I found it dirty, over-rated and expensive. Not somewhere I'd go back to.
However two things stand out as stellar experiences: spaghetti with bottarga (dried red mullet roe) and La Rondinara - easily one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Spoiled only by the 'toilet waste' in the bushes away from the sand. Like everywhere in Corsica as there are no public toilets on the island.

Nice to go yacht-spotting in the harbour.
I agree you will have much more luck there than in the more mountainous areas I have been to Corsica a few times and really enjoyed it (hence going more than once) there are some pretty impressive driving roads and loads of good place to eat / drink. Agree on Bonifacio being a good spot to visit.
