Nandos - KFC for the middle classes. Nothing to write home about.
What has classes got to do with anything? What a jumped up p.... Nandos is so good. Especially after the gym with a few mates.
Nandos, frankie and bennys, tgi, etc etc - they're just fast food without the honesty.
Personally I'd rather have a KFC Zinger Tower burger, about the only fast food I like
Mrs skinny loves a bit of nando's. I think £25 for a grilled chicken is a bit steep. For some reason she refuses to eat piri piri chicken from any of the small franchises on the way home for half the price. Maybe because of the lack of ambience!? Can't imagine the quality would be any different. Still, i've learnt you can be happy or you can be right.

What about these celebrity endorsements and the rumour that they invite certain high profile individuals to eat there free for a year at a time.
Ed Sheeran apparently has his own sauce in there.
The card is reportedly worth £11k per year in free Nando's food. I don't mind the occasional chicken pitta but £11k?Ed Sheeran apparently has his own sauce in there.

Its just KFC with a knife and fork, that is very very over priced for what it is.
I went once to see what the hype was about. From my encounter it was; someone with no interest in food or cooking putting a spatchcocked rat of a chicken on a grill then you put your own sauce on from a bottle. All for the best part of £20. No thanks.
It's nothing like KFC. About all they have in common is they mainly serve chicken.I went once to see what the hype was about. Presumably therefore Yo! Sushi just a chip shop with a conveyer belt?
Never eaten at Yo! Sushi, but if the conveyor belt has mushy peas, yes.Eleven said:
They don't but its irrelevant, by your metric chip shops and sushi bars are the same because they both serve food which is predominantly fish based.
I was only jesting regarding the similarities about Yo! Sushi and Chip Shops. However I would happily pay more to eat at a Yo! Sushi than a Chip Shop as from what I gather the food is of a higher quality. I don’t see any 'quality' difference between Nando’s and KFC.
I must admit though my judgement is based on the last time I ate at either which was probably about 8-10 years ago. Maybe things have changed, what with it being held with such high regard these days.
Never been to a Nando's but my lad wants to try as a few of his mates have been and raved about it so I said we'd go as part of my birthday celebrations.
Having read this, I'm regretting it and if it's on a par with Frankie and Bennie's (never had a good experience & meal whenever I've been dragged there) then I definitely won't bother.

Haven't had a nandos in a few years, i remember liking it but i'm not sure where all the hype has come from.
It is just fast food, don't get your hopes up for a nice restauant meal, but treat it the same as anywhere you pay for your food in advance and you'll be fine.
