Things to do near buckmore park

I'm taking my kids to Buckmore Park tomorrow to go Karting for the first time. Given the sessions are only 15 minutes, are there any other activities nearby that would be suitable for 5 year olds?

Not sure if this is any good, but i think Diggerland is pretty near by, just a thought.

There's that and Dickens World. Although that's had mixed reviews.

Is the ice rink still open at Gillingham? Could be something else to do.

There is an indoor play area (Kid Zone I think it's called) in the local area if you're ever back.
