How wide do you think you can safely get wheel spacers for?
Reason being is mine catch every so slightly on the callipers on 16mm core centric spacers (with long studs).
So…
Get new wheels, or go for something like 19/20mm spacers, check studs fit (anything above 5 turns on the nuts should be fine)
But I'm a bit sceptical of putting spacers on that big, especially as it will be driven hard, most of the time?
I just really like these wheels and haven't seen any others i would rather have, and if I get some made from Image they are expensive and take ages (thanks QBee for the loan wheel offer in the mean time)

You're alright until you start putting spacers on to fill wide arch kits. If you think about it, when you're using spacers to fit aftermarket wheels of the wrong offset all you are doing is replacing alloy that should be on the wheel with a spacer to make it the correct offset. It's when people get silly and try to increase the tack of their car by a foot to fill a wide arch kit that things go wrong, the first of which is normally bearing failure.

20mm is big, but not big enough to worry about if all you are trying to do is stop the wheel catching on the caliper.

agh thanks, I hadn't thought about it like that.
I was just thinking of horror stories from 'Chop Shop' style spacers causing strain or failure on other components….

(i wonder how much clearance is needed? Not sure if callipers or wheels expand when hot?)
20mm should give me 2-3mm clearance i think (guess
It's only one wheel thats catching

Out of interest, what's your offset?
