We're going in October, any recommendations for discounted tickets etc? Many thanks.

Was there last week. No advice on discounts but get a 'front of line' pass. It was mental busy and well worth it.

Go on Jurassic park last - you get soaked!

I was there last week. I bought discounted tickets in the UK and then upgraded to front of line passes.

I do recommend upgrading, even though the resultant total ticket price is close to GBP100/person. It saved probably an hour if not more for each ride / attraction.

The Transformers ride is quite good, The Mummy a bit disappointing and (as I'm old) the Simpsons ride isn't as good as the Back to the Future ride it replaced. The 3D King Kong during the tour is quite impressive.

I did the VIP tour a few weeks ago. Worth the extra money. It's an awesome place and the staff were great.

Funniest thing I saw on the lot (many years ago) was two 'Klingons' sharing a joint. (I work for Universal, amongst others). Wish I'd had me' camera!

Get a go Los angeles card, collect it from near the Hollywood Street with all the famous people's stars on the sidewalk... Name escapes me!

That gets you entry to everything worth doing, and cheaper then buying on the door!
