Ring to channel tunnel

Just in case someone might be able to help, have the roadworks along the E42 gotten any closer to being finished? Typically have taken the southern route back to avoid the Brussels ring road having been stuck badly on that one but the last time returning via the E42 the roadworks were fairly aggravating. And it doesn't help this time I have a 2200 train to catch leaving the Ring at ~5pm so wondering if I am better off taking my chances on the E40. Thanks

AS it so happens I can answer my own question having returned from the ring on the 25th August. Yes those roadworks are still there and returning along the E42 there are still 2 decently long stretches that are limited at 70kmh or so.
