North West Valeting Needed for Deep Scratches

My Dad has some deep scratches on his bonnet that I have tried all sorts of polishes and Machine polish to get out - and failed!! The scratches are not down to bear metal but I have been told he needs a pro valeter with paint depth measuring skills etc etc etc to get the scratch out - sounds better than a respray!. Any suggestions of good Valeting companies/people in NW would be much appreciated - preferably in Preston area. Cheers

A friend (& occasional poster around these parts) speaks highly of Jay at Miglior Detailing in the Accrington area. Jay looks after the paint on said friends Aston V12V and before that his 997 gt3.

However, some say that if you can feel a scratch with your finger, it's too deep to polish... I am not an expert on such things.

Its a start. Will let you know how he gets on. These are visible scratches but cannot feel them so we may be lucky. Thanks for the leads
