Rather unfair on Obama I feel, I can't begin to imagine the pressure a US president is constantly under, with ongoing events in Iraq, Syria, North Korea, Nigeria, Ukraine, Israel, as well as riots at home to deal with in Ferguson.

He can't just drop everything when there is a crisis somewhere in the world, everyone needs some relaxation time.

I think he's a fine President from what I have seen.

Obama is a waste of time , as far as the rest of the world is concerned is the missing president
Not missing at all, just check the nearest Golf course. smile
At least DC made the gesture of returning from vacation following the beheading. Our fellow returned to the podium, made a speech, then headed back to the golf links at Martha's Vineyard for a tee time with NBA star Alonzo Mourning.
Obama has actually spent less time on the golf course than Dubya. Look it up.
Acting or reacting President? Only results matter, rather than some instant gratification for the media.

To be honest if the Texan Chimp had spent a great deal more time on the golf course the world would be a much better place.

What glory do these IS animals think there is in what they do? Who do they think they are helping when they cut kids' heads off and is this what they imagined they'd be doing when they went out there? That butcher thinks he's the big man, a warrior. Surely he knows that beheading an innocent journo is not going to achieve anything other than spread fear, no glory in that. Then he'll end up wiped from existence by a drone strike casually launched by a man behind a desk who then proceeds to go for his lunch. He won't even get a televised speech from his killer, perhaps just a grainy and anonymous missile strike clip.
The only lasting legacy will be the shame of his parents.

If he had any foresight he wouldn't have got into that hole in the first place. A total lack of planning.

Elected twice with a decent majority, the voting public agree with you WR. Never has a president had to deal with a congress so twisted and angry that they irrationally block everything the voters choice has tried to do. They accuse him of giving up (who could blame him if he did) and then get apoplexy when he says "screw you" and by passes them with an executive order.

The republicans are getting more desperate by the day as their route to the White House is effectively blocked. Instead of tacking to the centre you can expect another reactionary right wing candidate like Cruz, Pence or Jeb to get the nomination and lose to Hillary in '16.

As a Iraqi Sunni Muslim I sincerely hope that ISIS gets smashed to pieces with no mercy.

I would back a law stating that any pro-ISIS statement made by anyone in the UK is an act of treason and punished appropriately.

This is how every muslim I know feels both Sunni and Shia.

ISIS seems to be very cult like in its draw on certain people. Cults both evil and good have been around for a long time and have afflicted people of all religions.

For those of you condemning muslims, could I just remind you that barely a generation ago Hitler managed to convince many educated Europeans to commit atrocious acts on millions of civilians, not even having to use religion as an excuse! Many 90 year old German, Japanese or Russian males alive today probably partook in some evil act as bad as what ISIS is committing- think about that.

On another point - that that muslim leaders are not speaking out against ISIS take a look at the following :

A Grand Mufti is the highest Sunni Muslim authority in a particular area.

http://news.yahoo.com/saudi-top-cleric-blasts-qaed...

Riyadh (AFP) - Saudi Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh on Tuesday blasted Al-Qaeda and Islamic State jihadists as "enemy number one" of Islam, in a statement issued in Riyadh.

"The ideas of extremism, radicalism and terrorism... have nothing to do with Islam and (their proponents) are the enemy number one of Islam," the kingdom's top cleric said.

He cited jihadists from the Islamic State, which has declared a "caliphate" straddling large parts of Iraq and Syria, and the global Al-Qaeda terror network.

"Muslims are the main victims of this extremism, as shown by crimes committed by the so-called Islamic State, Al-Qaeda and groups linked to them," the mufti said, quoting a verse in the Koran urging the "killing" of people who do deeds harmful to Islam.

His stance reflects the Saudi clerical community's hostility towards IS jihadists, known for their brutality......

Egypt's Grand Mufti: http://www.aawsat.net/2014/08/article55335380

Lebanons Grand Mufti: “What is happening in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Libya is an enormous tragedy, and the harm we are doing to ourselves is more than what the Israelis can do in Gaza and Palestine.”

He strongly criticized the fundamentalist group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria’s (ISIS) practices against the Christians of Iraq.

“How is the Christian in Mosul and other areas forced to leave his religion and his home, and how is his life and his family threatened?” Daryan wondered, pledging to show solidarity and support to Christians oppressed by extremist Muslims."

But because it doesn't turn up on the Daily Mail website it apparently never happened according to some on here wink

Sorry to go off topic, but can somebody explain (in very simple terms) what the main differences are between Sunni and Shia Muslims, for those that do not know.....(Like myself)

I have had a brief look on the net, but am not that much wiser.

Thanks.

Interesting front page to The Express today. At first I thought, brilliant that's just what this situation bigging this COWARD up to be the "Worlds Most Wanted Man,"

But then I had a think about the UK today and I thought what an excellent way to catch this guy. As it has already been mentioned that this COWARD is almost definitely British, I'm sure some of his mates know his mobile/twitter account and will even now be posting,

"hav a look at the Express site blud. U r the main man, the boss. Them st scared of u!"

as he frantically tries to smash his mobile against a rock.

Here come the planes........... smile

So that then he either ends up as a paint smear or in the back of a bird on his way back to Britain, alive but after the SAS had finished with him, wearing his bks as earrings.

It's all to do with a dispute over who was the rightful heir to the prophet.

It's a People's Front of Judea / Judean People's Front sort of thing.
