Hi everyone
I have a garage/mot station and a couple of guys working for me along with a couple of recovery vehicles.
I've been doing this for the last 25 years so its nothing new, but my current and long time ins broker is IMO starting to take to p--s

does anyone know of or do this line of work and would like to quote?

many thanks
Paul

Bollington insurance broker recently came out very favourably for me.

I think it's best to stay away from trade plan / tradex for your needs

They serve a purpose and offer cover where others wouldn't.

I used to be CEO at Bollington (not for a couple years now) and they have a few schemes - I'd just ring two or three of the specialist brokers that will come up on google and take your pick having reviews the quotes. Hopefully a new place I am backing will come up but I not sure what our google strategy is at the moment!
I have designed and managed countless Motor Trade Schemes over the years and there are plenty of options and different levels of cover. Most will be pretty tough on application of the T&Cs come claim time - particularly if you are loose with the vehicles you declare and drive.

If you have a "proper" garage then either a specialist broker or your local broker if you still have one will be able to offer a selection of quotes.

Thanks Desolate smile

My problem is the mountain of paperwork to sort though regarding the service (terms and conditions) that all these insurance companies offer, how on earth can we make an accurate comarisn of all the different comanies and their products!! Just one companies t&c's are a nightmare to read and understand. and now Ive got 20 companies to sort though by not only price, but reputation, t&c's, levels of cover, features, ease of claim! it goes on and on!

Plus you need a legal degree to read that crap in the first place!

How does anyone pick an insurer? Is it just trial and error? there seems to be no way to actually compare these companies in a meaningful way

hmmph!
