Where to send Cartier Tank for service.
Discussion
Chaps, My Wifes Tank Francaise (quartz) has been steadily loosing time over the past few months. The job has just been upgraded to urgent, as she has taken to wearing one of my watches until its fixed.
So who would you recommend for the job. Assume it just needs a new battery and a dusting.
Not keen on high street or AD's, rather a nice Indi with a good reputation.
Thanks.

I would send it back to Cartier via an AD.So who would you recommend for the job. Assume it just needs a new battery and a dusting.

I let a local and respected indie loose on a Cartier and was very disappointed. I sent it back to Cartier, who were cheaper and who sent the watch back like new. Not polished to within an inch of its like Rolex does, still as sharp as new with as good a finish, if not better.
Assuming you enjoy as good an experience as I did, your missus will be delighted with the watch when it comes back.
