The photo looks set up to me. This looks like a front half in quite good condition, and the positioning of the car looks a bit suspect (the front is not connected to the rear for example).
I know importing a full car from Japan to Australia (assuming this is indeed Australia) is much more expensive (cars of a certain type might even be impossible to import whole) than importing just the front half (which is registered as parts). They did that on a MCM video and explained the reasons why in more detail.
Maybe this individual did similar. Maybe he lives on this street and set this up for a laugh. Not really that funny if so.

Looks realistic from here. RHD, I presume? So the tree's gone in the front passenger door and gone diagonally to somewhere around the backrest of the driver's seat. He's VERY, very lucky. Another inch or three for'ard, or a little squarer on, and he'd be squirrelfood.
