Quite. I don't think they sold very many in the first place which inevitably limits the used examples. Also, I suspect a number of used estate car buyers recognise these are definitely a contender.

PS The world is full of used Mercs and BMWs. Dealers will be desperate to shift trade-ins as soon as the new registration plates arrive and their forecourts are cluttered with cars.

There's one in NI on Autotrader.

There is more choice if you're prepared to go with the 2.7 Hdi engine in, say, a 407 estate, although as we all know that car has, ahem, issues.

You'd save about 5k doing that too, which could go in the bork fund.
