Tom Brady International Terminal

Anyone else landed at the TBIT at LAX? What did you think of it? I landed here yesterday and it is hobestly the worst terminal I've ever been to.

The customs queue was so incredibly long. The people telling you where to go didn't know where you had to go. Waited in that one room for about 90 minutes. Got through customs and thought yes! Finally out, then I couldn't find my bag because it's so poorly advertised where your bag actually is.. I eventually found it and was so happy because normally this is where you can finally exit..

Oh no, wrong again..

This time you have to exit down the same line as people getting connecting flights so you're not really sure if you're going the right way due to the poor signage. Then you have to go through customs, AGAIN! Why?! Just seems utterly bizarre and pointless.

I love flying into LAX but certainly don't enjoy the experience getting out of it!

Rant over!

Took my xbox 360 in my carry on. Haven't tested it yet but was in a lot of bubble wrap so should be fine!

Anyone know how to change time zone on here?

I found it ok for an American terminal, flew in/out with Norwegian about a month ago. Pretty disappointing for such a new building though, Gatwick's South Terminal seemed nicer! However the security staff were quite friendly and chatty, even if the procedure was the usual hassle.

What I found odd about the other (domestic) terminals at LAX was that the baggage return areas were freely accessible to the public, often right next to the exit doors.
