Hmm, stroking beard before starting!
It's sort of right. Imola red was not an individual colour, it was a standard colour, but somewhat rare.
The interior though does seem like an individual spec, never seen the red extended leather.
Mine has the half and half black and red leather.
Not sure about " every extra", the vast bulk of what is listed is standard spec on an M5.
Looks tidy, a smidge overpriced but a decent motor.
Edited to add wheels need a refurb, budget a min of £75 per wheel if you want a proper job done.

The only thing i see that's odd is that extra lever next to the gear lever. Wtf is it?
Can't see anything else other than a price difference between the PH ad & the AT one.
I believe that to be some sort of driving aid to assist with clutch/brakes due to a physical impairment of the owner. Can't see anything else other than a price difference between the PH ad & the AT one.
I had an E39 M5 and never seen a full red leather interior - must be very rare.

Just my 2 pennies worth. Be careful when buying from the Bucks (mainly High Wycombe) area as when I was considering an E39 M5 as my next motor, a couple of sellers were very, very dodgy.
One car had been clocked and another said he was the last owner of the car when actually he wasn't.
They seem to create dodgy websites and change mobile numbers frequently unfortunately.
I'm not trying to tarnish the reputation of all sellers in the Bucks area but all I'm saying is to check all the details carefully, like you would any car.
I'll see if I can find the chaps mobile number who clocked the car as he was an absolute tw@.

There's a longish thread about this car (and one other) on:

Makes 'interesting' reading.
Barge pole anyone?

It's just way too fishy and it makes me laugh when the guy in the thread makes a comment about not worrying if the seller is full of sh!t, just buy the car on condition!!
How many people would buy a car from a seller you don't trust? I certainly wouldn't.

Did you ever buy an m5 Henry?

Nope. As you know I was looking for a car with split folding seats and that made the search difficult enough. In the end, I wanted a fast barge, not a saloon and ended up buying a C5 RS6 Plus. It's a phenomenal machine but just feels a little dated inside and makes me miss the 535d interior.Did you ever buy an m5 Henry?
Hopefully in the near future I'll be stepping into an E61 M5.
What are you driving these days?
