Can anyone tell me what these signs are? I can't find any reference to them in either the Highway code or Know your Traffic signs. Regularly see them and thought they my be in conjunction with the yellow event signs you sometimes see.
If a road has to be closed, there should be a diversion sign and that sign will have a particular shape on it such as a triangle. What I do then is follow the existing signs which have said triangle on them.
I've always found the German system easier to follow with the numbered 'U' routes. For me it's too easy to miss a shape or even forget which shape it is, as you can see it's not patently obvious what they are.
