I'll be getting my tickets from the ticket office
Snag is I'm 65 miles away which is a bit of a schlep in the dark, early on a Saturday morning.
I was 37miles away unfortunatley I moved last week for work and I'm now 204miles away but im sure I'll tie it in with another goodwood event or trackday.

Many of you have asked which is the best place to stay. I live in Chichester and a provisional member of the GRRC.

There are many B&B's good ones in and around the circuit. Halnaker, Boxgrove, East Dean, Lavant, West Dean, Tangmere and Singleton. They all have several B&B's in each village which are local to the circuit, google these villages and you should find . There are some in Chichester too. Also if you are on a budget there is a holiday site just outside Chichester. between A27 and A259. the link is below...

http://www.parkholidays.com/chichester-lakeside-ca...

They have holiday homes to rent and camping and motor home parking to hire .. many use this site for FOS and Revival .

Hope this all helps those in need of a over night accommodation.

As I'm only on the waiting list I was chuffed to bits to be offered tickets and was all set to get mine.
Unfortunately the timings are all wrong and I'll be on the other side of the world at the end of March. Typical. Roll on 2016 then...

Ayup guys, following topic, I am wanting to go this year but am a virgin, we would like to stay nearby, have tried a few hotel sites and even found the local Hilton 5 miles away fully booked, whats the best place to stay but nearby? We don't wannah drive too far with a hangover! Is it worth camping, was going to take Tuscan but sold it for a british mark (too posh for me) so sold that last year and bought a red Italian thing, (too posing for me) which is quite aggressive, anyway I need to keep her indoors happy with a decent hotel or perhaps we should rough it camping …..opinions please

Can't help you but would just like to point out that TVR is a British mark! hehe

That plus the jaunty 'mockney' banter and I'd say you're not for real and I claim my five pounds biglaugh

Had an email from Goodwood today stating tickets for the 73rd Members Meeting 2015 are going on "general sale" on Thursday 6th November.
At which point it becomes the 73rd Meeting 2015 I presume?

Didn't take them long did it. Membership only renews on 1st Nov so that's 5 days to see if members buy the tickets.

It all seems to be a bit rushed this year doesn't it, giving members only a month before offering it to the waiting list then another month until opening it up to "others"

Is uptake really that bad? And I've seen no confirmation from anyone that it will be capped at 20,000 this year.

73rd Members Meeting tickets went on sale to all GRRC members in August. The mail out that members received in the week leading up to the launch (with the 72nd MM DVD in the back) outlined the ticket sales plan which was to go on sale in August to members, invite the GRRC waiting list to purchase at the end of September & release any of the remaining tickets to the public in November. The price will continue to be discounted for GRRC members until 31st December.
We are capping the capacity at 20,000.

When you say "we", do you work for Goodwood? There's nothing in your profile. We used to see James on here from time to time but not so much recently. Anyway if you're "official" that's good, it's nice to get a bit of news here because your own forum is FUBARED and no one from Goodwood ever comments on it.

Sorry RichB, I should have clarified - yes, I manage all the goodwood event ticket sales.
Fortunately, I don't work in IT! But I know we're having some problems, depending on which browser you're using but my knowledge doesn't stretch much further than that I'm afraid! All of the issues raised around IT are being looked at as we speak.

More than 25 examples of Grand Prix cars built between 1971 and 1976 will be celebrated at next year’s 73rd Goodwood Members’ Meeting, and fans of the era will point to one stand-out, never-to-be-repeated feature.

Where the late sixties saw the introduction to Formula One of wings and the early days of downforce, the first half of the seventies will forever be remembered for enormous, towering airboxes, as well as cheesecloth, kaftans, bell-bottoms, Campari, and cheese and pineapple cubes on sticks …

In 1976 it was decreed that the car’s airbox could not be higher than the roll-hoop behind the driver and the whole thing came to an end. Prior to that though, with designers presumably chasing a ‘ram-air’ effect they could build as high as they wanted and in doing so created arguably one of the most visually distinctive Grand Prix eras ever.

Descending upon Goodwood between March 21st and 22nd will be some stellar examples including two ex-Niki Lauda Ferrari 312Ts and a 312B3, two Lotus 72s and a 76, a pair of Marches, McLarens, Tyrrells, a Shadow DN1 and some rarer machinery like the only Amon AF101 in existence, a Trojan T103-1 and such a thing as a (the?) Token RJ02.

Following this year’s highly successful 72nd Members’ Meeting we can’t wait for the 73rd. We’ve lots more to tell you about it, but you’ll have to watch this space…

I remeber reading the ticket outline but I'm away from all my membership information so could remember the exact timeline. Cheers for clarifyfying. I got my 3 tickets when they went on sale, and looking forward to it as this years was brilliant.

Good news to hear it's capped at 20,000 still. I'm expecting it to sell out quicker than this years as now people have seen what to expect.

Great news, looking forward to this.

A request for PHomer can we get village disco back for the evening entertainment? They're mix of old school music with reading parts of Haynes manuals and motoring tales had our group in stitches for a large part of the evening!!

Anyone know what day the Porsches will be on? I can only make it for one day and would ideally like to see them. Thanks a lot!
