Evening happy people. Found a set of leathers I like from dainese but although it says there is a 360 degree zipper it seems to leave a big gap along the front. Has anyone used these and had dramas with marshals etc on trackdays?

Here's a pinky for those who want a peek (don't know how to upload photos on here)

What MTB said. As far as I am aware all two piece leathers with a '360 degree' zip have a gap like that at the front (mine do). I think the are trying to distinguish between jackets and trousers that only join at the back.

The two piece leathers that I have owned have a smaller gap at the front - only a couple of inches at most.

I think that gap is because, unlike dedicated two-piece trousers, they are designed to be worn (and stay up) without the jacket attached.

That said I reckon they'd be accepted for track use with no problem.

I was booted off a No Limits trackday at Brands earlier in the year for having two piece leathers, despite having done plenty of trackdays there before, with No Limits. The zip leaves around an 80mm gap, but big chief marshall said it wouldn't do. I ended up swapping a particularly sweaty one-piece between sessions with a mate, having begged them to swap our groups around to do it. If you can justify it, get a one-piece to save agro.
