Leyland Daf 45 owners/operators manual

Does anyone have a PDF or link to a Daf 45 owners/operators manual? I have the workshop manuals but can't seem to find an owners book (I assume such a think exists)?

Thanks for your help guys but I just realised I left out a vital piece of information - the lorry in question is an N reg (1985)

I dont think the 45 came out until the mid 90's if i remember correctly.

It was previously a Leyland Roadrunner which was pretty much the same truck.

Yes typo on my part, N reg is 1995.

I might have one kicking about in the darkest depths of my tool box. I will have a look next time i go to my parents house.

Hi all,
Same question as Matt's; I've just acquired a Leyland-DAF 45.150 1999-model so it's an 'FA' model. I've found a copy of the maintenance manual but there seems to be loads of information in the Drivers Handbook (Operators Manual?) that isn't included in the main manual.
All I can find from searching the web are copies of the later 'LF' range.

I looked and don't have one sorry. Not much to know about them really they are a pretty good truck.

Common faults

Spring eye bushes
Handbrake cables seize up
Rear brake adjusters do the same just clean them up each time the drums are off.

The clutch booster and fuel pumps can also be a slight weak point.

Thanks for reply and advice on common faults, I'm just prepping the lorry for its MOT so I'll add your points to the check-list.
I'm fairly new to running my own truck so I'm trying to research the little tricks and foibles that more experienced 'truckies' take for granted especially re the DAF.

I HAVE 1994 L REG 45 130 CONVERTED HORSE BOX AND I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF ANYONE COULD OBTAIN A WORK SHOP MANUEL I HAVE SAME PROBLEM AND I HAVE BOUGHT 3 ONLY TO FIND ON DELIVERY THERE FOR LF TRUCKS

Sorry to bring up an old thread.

I have a 1994 (M) Leyland DAF 45 150 Turbo and need to service it.

I have seen a couple of post's with people having the workshop manual, could someone point in the direction as to where it can be downloaded please or if not available for download where it can be purchased from.

HI all new to this. Does anybody have any idea why the handbrake on my Daf 45 130 turbo ( converted horsebox) decides to suddenly lock on while driving. Rear wheels lock up then after a period hour or so ably to move. Stripped brakes down cannot firn any issue with them,. any idea where to look next. due for a plate start of march but unable to drive untill i figure out what is wrong. also looking for workshop manual. It s a Fa model
