I am thinking of getting a Focus estate with a 1.0 litre turbo engine.
Estate because I occasionally need to carry a full size acetylene bottle,oxygen or Argoshield.
Ford because of the quick clear heated windsceen in the winter.
One litre turbo because I think it will heat up quicker and warm the cabin up quicker than
anything else.
Also and a significant also. From my house to my place of work is only 1.7 miles, 30 limit,40 limit
then 30 limit again. I do this journey a minimum of four times a day.
I do need the availability of a car during the day as I often have to pop off somewhere.
Fuel economy is not an issue,for the last six years I done this with a X5 diesel!!
