I am looking for a Mercedes ML 320 petrol and wondered if there was any desirable options to look out for...

I am looking for a 2002 onwards car and have up to £4k to spend

Any buying advice also welcome!

Heated seats!

The leather is freezing in winter eek

I'd also look at LPG as well, as they aren't the best on short journeys.

Thanks for the reply :-)

Have to say I am disappointed after looking at 5 of the ML range.... every one had rust that was simply unacceptable, so I am now looking a few Jeep Grand Cherokees

The subsequent ML 350 is more rust resistant and better on fuel. You should get one for around £4k.

Why not a 500? Fuel costs won't be hugely different and equipment levels will be higher too.
