Looking to make a move on the car below but no nav installed is it possible to fit the bmw nav into the car?..

I own a 2007 E 70 at the moment to be honest the nav is rubbish IMO.

Everyone would expect nav in this sort of car I guess worry about resale later on without it.

Hi,

It's pmost likely possible, but it's going to cost you a big chunk of money!

As it's a very new car I'd expect perhaps BMW doing the retrofit will perhaps be north of £3000. That's dependent upon how much the parts prices are needed to do the work. Expect to perhaps pay more if those parts prices are even more steep than they usually are. The previous generation cars do have some specialists out there doing such work and one being these guys

If they can get the parts at a discount, perhaps they can do a substantially reduced fitted price?

If you speak to your BMW dealer, they'll most likely present you with a price and what's needed so do get the part numbers if you can. Finding a recently written off and to be parted out car could get you the modules cheaper and a specialist above might do the coding needed etc.

Else, you could just buy the car, and use a/your smartphone for a GPS navigation solution. I use 'Waze' quite a lot and it's completely free! that would save you at the very least a couple thousand pounds !

Cheers, Dennis!

Cannot believe someone has specced a 335d F30 without any NAV.

Makes it a very difficult car to move on.

Halogen lights too. Surprising.

I'm not surprised, that's a bit of an odd one. Top of the range diesel with xDrive but no essentials (in my book) like Xenons or nav. Can't work out why you would spend an extra £800+ on individual paint but no decent lights. They do shift though!
