R107 experts in London and surroundings
Discussion
I know it's not around London, but the most knowledgeable guy, bar none, is based in Redditch (not the SL Shop). I live in the South but always take it to this chap who trades under the name of MercTec. He pretty much works on nothing but 107's, is an MB trained tech and because he works alone, his prices are very reasonable.
As I said, Redditch is a bit of a distance, but very well worth it and is highly recommended within the MB Club UK too.
Let me know if you'd like his contact details.

IN-Autos nr. Lingfield look after my 107, they know the cars well and are always restoring more than one. You can see detailed pictures on their facebook page.
Also had work done before at PCS in Horndean - you'll find a lot of love on the mbclub forum for them. Nice drive down there too if you go the right way.
Steve Griffin/Merctec in Redditch is long way away, but I know people in Brighton and London who are prepared to use him because he's the master... They claim he's reasonable too and they make the trainfare back without doubt. If you're wanting a bigger job done it's worth chatting to him I would think. I've never been up there but would definitely consider it for a minor/major resto. He responds to posts on the mercedes-benz-club forum almost instantly has freely dished out free advice to me and others on countless occasions.
Kevin O'Keefe in Warlingham specialises in gullwings, but did some work on my 107 a few years ago - really really good guy.
For bodywork, Barry Price at Multitech in Chobham is good - he knows the 107 very well and has done work on my S124. His brother is the famous D-Class Dave.
