Cerebral palsy athlete makes iron-man history

Did anyone see this in the news:-
Twin brothers Steen and Peder Mondrup set two event records yesterday. First twins in the world to complete an iron-man contest together and first person with cerebral palsy to ever complete.

I have a friend that competes in iron-man contests in Switzerland and am always amazed that anyone can do it, let alone an achievement like what they guys have just done. Stunning stuff.

One of the many reasons why I find Ironman triathlon just about the most amazing, life affirming sport there is.

Very similar story to the Hoyts . . . if you've ten minutes spare, have a look at this. There are probably many other youtube vids about them, but this one came up first in my search!

Whichever one you watch though, it won't be time wasted . . . always brings a lump to my throat thinking about those guys.
