It looks like it is a new install but has not yet gone on the Rolling Road, I for one would never buy a SC or Turbo without it having been fettled for a few thousand miles.

Gaaah.. Why do people use the word 'fresh' when referring to engine bits?? Why? How can you have 'fresh correct compression'? How?

Vegetables and fruit come fresh. Engine bits are new, used, and/or refurbished.

Stupid stupid expression.

Some things really wind me up.

I've also packed up smoking. As of this morning, and I seem to be coping quite well.

I`m wondering to what level the engine was built ,cam spec ,forged pistons etc .Is the 5l engine a good engine to turbo with that suspect crank !

Looks a seriously tidy and very well thought-out install to me yes

If the NCK reference is a clue as to the builder, I doubt anything about it would disappoint

I didn't realise NCK became TVR Power - learn something everyday

"North Coventry Kawasaki (NCK), which company was subsequently purchased by TVR to become their in-house engine division known as TVR Power"

Shame the article talks complete and utter bks about superchargers - 260BHP from a 4.0ltr supercharged car, when my SC is more powerful than their 4.0 Turbo car. What a lock of crap. smile
