I had one of those bets tonight that everyone was laughing at. I had a fiver on the MK dons to beat Manchester United at home 3-0, The bookies gave me 150-1. Everyone stopped laughing at 70 ish minutes when the score was 3-0 ..why the hell did the dons feel the need to score again ????

£750 down the drain. frown

I covered my bet with another fiver at 8-1 for the dons to win but still..mother fkers!!

Gutted for you mate, when you're that close, I always look at underdogs to turn opponents (even more so in the cup), and I was tempted with Dons win last night, the start United have had, but in the end steered clear of the game completely. But being so close is so gutting.

It wasn't really £750 down the drain though was it? It was only £5.

I will definitely do that for long shots in the future, I would probably have been able to cash out about £600 when it was 3-0 frown

I doubt they would have gave you anything close to £750 to cash out at 70 mins. More like £300.
A goal could come from either time at that time in the match, especially with a quarter of the game left smile

I have just logged into my account and the bet has paid out!

The actual bet is worded a bit differently than I thought and I have to admit I am wondering if I have put a different bet on than I meant too!

Tha actual bet is a fiver on 2nd half correct score of 3-0 , It then says the final score was 4-0 and I was a winner. It paid out £755 for that bet and the £45 for my £5 at 8-1 just for any MK win. I am happily confused smile

Man U had no shots on goal before that point, or at least before 60 minutes from the stat I saw.
