As above. My van started cutting out all of a sudden. I would be doing 70 on the motorway, couple of chugs (as if running out of fuel) and then boom stall!! Couple of attempts to re-start and nothing. Turn key off (whilst still rolling down from 70) back on and started with no issues then back up to 70 for the rest of the journey. This happened for around 1 month or so and then for the past 2 months has been fine.

There also appears to be a whinning from the front. I'm not sure if this is turbo related or could be coming from the power steering pump?? Someone said it might be the fuel pump?? I just some guidance on the engine to keep it running tip top. It has full service history from new and it currently at 130,000.

When at 70 sometimes it just sticks there, won't go over (not that i need to) but my point is that it seems as though it is restricted (even on the flat) and then downhill or occasionally when it wants the turbo will spool up and it flashes up to X speed (faster than 70). Could this be a tired turbo not boosting properly??

Sorry for all the questions, thanks in advance!!
