I am finally picking my F30 330d msport next Tuesday! It was ordered the 3rd week of August. Those bloomin' brakes better be worth the wait!
I ordered my 330d GT on August 11th and they are still saying mid to late December to arrive at dealer. I wonder if the GTs are on the same line?

I went with the m-sport plus pack which included the upgraded brakes... The brakes were the reason for the hold up for me. I don't actually know if BMW do certain runs of the same spec (330, 335, GT, Saloon... Ect) as it seemed reading this thread that 335d ordered around the same time arrived to the customers over the last couple of weeks? So unfortunately no help for you other than I am picking up 1 week ahead of the quoted date.

I am finally picking up my F30 330d m sport next tuesday too!! I ordered mine in the 1st week of August, was originally told mid October, then mid-end November, then beginning of Dec and was updated this week that the car has finally finished production and ready to pick up next week smile Can't wait!

For me, just for aesthetics, the brakes will definitely be worth it smile

Appears to not just be the F30 that's slipping, me mother ordered a 220i Sport in August for November delivery, she's now being told January at the earliest.

Mines now the stealer ready for pickup.

However a word of warning, the pcp finance quote, due to the long wait, has expired. with the new quote, the final value has gone down by £200+ resulting in the monthlies increasing by around a Tenner.

So if you are waiting longer than 90 days, get your finance quote re-validated otherwise you maybe down by £200+

I will not be happy if they try to up the price. It's not my fault that they couldn't deliver in the time agreed.
Hopefully picking mine up next week.

I did it's no ones fault but I seem to be paying for it war dance thing. But BMW finance would not budge since the small says they can do what the hell they like.

For those who are have waited a long time and are picking up this week - check the finance deal before you go, and try and squeeze out a goodwill gesture if it's changed.

Luckily I'm old school so I've actually got the money in the bank before buying ( thanks Dad for that piece of advice wink) so I may go down there tomorrow and just pay - fk there little finance tricks, since when I mentioned the £500 rebate on the pcp finance for previously owning a bmer I was met with silence mad

Or dump the deal, since I had the presence of mind to write the apr, rebate and final car value into the order. There are some cracking secondhand cars out there. Having had the f34 loaner with folding mirrors and reversing camera, I quite fancy a f31 estate car. I've just found a fully loaded one for £31k secondhand.

What do you people think??????

I saw a post on f30 post from guy who'd had his 335d delivered without the BBK, dealer said the Msport + pack had been changed to exclude the bigger brakes.

Could be dealer BS but worth checking with your supplying dealer.

If you have the cash don't buy a new car, just get a 12 month second hand one, fully loaded? With merino leather, panoramic roof, electric seats, MS+ pack etc....?

31k is crazy cheap for a fully loaded 335d xdrive touring the cheapest on the AUC is 35k with a pretty basic spec, you're looking at 38k for the cheapest with MS+ pack, I'd snap that up.

Wills2, not quite - it's a secondhand year old f31 330d with 16k on the clock, but it does have the M+ pack, electric seats, towbar, reversing camera, service pack etc etc. - a £49k+ build and probably cost £38k to buy through DTD.

AUC are expensive and you have to look towards Indy and the private to find out the true value.

Also looked at the 320d xdrive secondhand prices, given that the f34 2l loaner showed me how effortlessly it could overtake 2 cars on a B road.

I think I need to sleep on this, since BMW finance have really wound me up. The f30/f31 are cracking cars and do want one, especially since I've just made up a set of 400m alloy conti winters in readiness.

It's called the 'M Sport Design' Package, a measure temporarily introduced whilst the brake issues exist

.... Should be about £400 cheaper than M Sport Plus !

If you ordered and requested M Sport Plus, then you should have the brakes!

From reading the post, he did order the MS+ pack and the car was delivered without the brakes, he wasn't happy (understandable!) and the DP agreed to retro fit the M performance brakes instead.

The gist was they are delivering cars without the brakes even though the MS+ pack option was ticked.

You could get that and add the PPK..

That's a good price but reflective of the mileage and age I guess.

But you get the warranty anyway so I'd go for that as a cash buyer.

As Wills2 has said, looks a decent car for the money; it's missing adaptive suspension but if you find the standard SE set-up a bit soft it sounds like there are ways of addressing that for a relatively modest outlay. I'd also prefer a panoramic roof (especially with the black interior) but that really is just a personal thing!
