The driver's seat in my BMW is not in good shape. It's covered 145k and the bolster has a fair bit of damage. Not just the usual wear or small cracks, there's a fairly chunky hole missing, along with some foam too.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a local leather repair specialist?

I've had a quote of ~£200 from Bespoke Leather who are based in Birmingham, as they need to remove the old bolster and replace it with new, but was wondering if there was anyone closer to home - Berks/Bucks/Wilts/Hants/Oxon/Surrey etc.

Many thanks in advance

Thanks Nick, I knew I should have just asked you straight out.

Off-topic, I need someone to do a few small jobs on my E46 touring, have you got any words of wisdom about Car Clinic in Newbury?

Cheers,

Tim

I asked at the Merc dealer in Basingstoke about a pleather repair on my car and they said they use Trimmania in Finchampstead... which happens to be about 3 miles from my house! I think a lot of dealers use them which is why I recommended them. I haven't got around to getting the repair done on mine yet (it'll be a replacement panel) so I can't give a 1st hand recommendation.

Trimmania were the best, when in Reading. Car Clinic are good for Beemer repairs. Know a few happy customers. TTS in Thatcham, seem a very good outfit and have some lovely cars in there, as my office is across the road and sometimes go to the electrical wholesalers and have a nosey.
