October Travels/sun/hostels/boozing

So, the masses of the PH never fail to deliver, I'm here for some holiday advice!
Finish my summer job in a few weeks and am off to France for my second ski season in mid November (if anyone wants some good deals on ski hire, let me know!) and am planning a few weeks away somewhere hot as I've spent my whole summer in an office.
In terms of budget I'll have £2000 saved up but don't want to spunk it all, maybe 500-750? I've already been to a few standard european places like Prague/Amsterdam and travelled round Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam last summer.
So somewhere hot with fun hostels, boozing and activities. I'll probably be going solo...

But am open to any suggestions!
