5d MkII shutter button not working...HELP!
Discussion
I have been using the camera all weekend with no issues, everything normal and working fine. I tried to take a couple of pics this evening and the shutter button wont take a picture. The autofocus works and the image stabilizer works but nothing else happens when the shutter is fully pressed (it's similar to what happens when you try to take a pic and the auto focus hasn't locked on to the object). The problem still happens with different lenses and if the focus mode is set to AF or MF.
However, the shutter button on the battery grip works fine
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.

My old 40D did that a couple of times. It was dirt getting into the shutter button and the 40D's were rather prone to it apparently. Haven't heard of it happening on a 5D mk ii but anything is possible. Canon are quite reasonable with their repair prices, I'd ship it off to them and get it sorted.
