Seems to be getting more frequent when I pull away (slow) I get a grinding noise and the car gives the low traction sign. It's a vxr ro. Anyone else had this getting abit worried now lol

LSD? Don't they grind if there's not enough friction modifier in them? What's the car like when you turn tight circles?

If its a low volume grind (not to heavy sounding) it could be an ABS sensor has detached from the rear, or perhaps there's some play back there. If you can jack the back end up and pop the car in gear grab a wheel and rock it to see if there's anything moving that shouldn't.

Don't overlook what Xpuffin has suggested, as he has a lot of experience with his Monaro, but have a read here

The diffs usually at its worst immediately after pulling off from a high speed run if that helps any.
The noise can sound like its coming from anywhere too, so don't worry if you think it's coming from the clutch area.
Never had the low trac light though.

I've had exactly the same on my vxr, every now and then just as the clutch "bites" I get this "crunchy" or " "scratchy" sound with a low traction warning on the dash. Even with the low traction warning it still drives forward which I would not expect? Been like it for 2 years, Roger at Monkfish had her for 3 days, but it didn't misbehave once.... Monaro mood?
